CATHERINE THORPE:
Director and Instructor, Salt Lake Valley:
Born and raised in Paris, France, Catherine Thorpe attended
the French School system from elementary to Master's degree university level
with a major emphasis in English; she received an MA degree in English at the
Sorbonne University in Paris. She has been French voice talent for
numerous video and audio productions. She has
taught adult education classes at West High School and the University of Utah,
and currently directs her own school -- which she has been doing for 12 years.
She also does personal tutoring of French for children and adults.

DEBORAH
TAIT
Utah Valley Instructor:
Deborah is Catherine's daughter and
consequently bilingual. She spent many of her childhood years with family in
Northern France and continued her love of France and the French language
throughout her life. She studied French Literature during her undergraduate
years finishing up her degree in Switzerland and continued to finish her
graduate degree in French Teaching. She also lived in Southern France for
several years in between her studies.
