Catherine Thorpe is the director of the school, and has been teaching French in the Salt lake City area for more than 20 years. She has taught French to hundreds of students young and old.  She offers all levels of French classes and tutoring, focusing on everyday French conversation. The classes are small and informal and give abundant opportunities to interact with the instructor and other students. Catherine feels that learning French should be fun and she uses her colorful French humor to encourage the French learning experience. She has been in the center of French activities in the Salt Lake area for more than 30 years. Catherine is a native Parisian with a master's degree in English from the Sorbonne University in Paris.

Don Thorpe is the business manager for the school, and an award winning photographer specializing in creative photos of France, He has exhibited at the Springville Museum of Art, Finch Lane Art Gallery, Eccles Art Center, Harris Fine Arts Gallery, Utah Council of Arts Gallery, and others.
