Born and raised in Paris, France,
Catherine Thorpe attended the French School system to earn a Master's
Degree with a major emphasis in English at the Sorbonne University in Paris. She is the director
and instructor for Vive La France School in Salt Lake City. She also teaches adult
education classes in French at the University of Utah. She
was an official French language coach for the Utah Opera in Salt Lake City and
has been French voice talent for numerous video and audio productions.
